AutoFlight and JC Aviation Sign MoU to Accelerate eVTOL Deployment Across International Markets

  • The cooperation covers passenger, cargo and firefighting eVTOL applications across India, Brazil and other international markets.
  • The partnership will support certification, fleet development, training, maintenance and local operational capabilities.
  • JC Aviation plans to procure 260 AutoFlight eVTOL aircraft and 10 SUNSHIP platforms.

15 October 2026 (Singapore/Kunshan, China): AutoFlight, a global leader in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with JC Aviation, covering the planned procurement of 260 AutoFlight eVTOL aircraft and 10 SUNSHIP platforms.

Under the agreement, JC Aviation intends to procure a mix of V2000CG CarryAll cargo eVTOLs, V2000CGF CarryAll firefighting eVTOLs and V2000EM Prosperity passenger eVTOLs between 2026 and 2031. The agreement also covers 10 SUNSHIP water-based eVTOL platforms planned for delivery between 2026 and 2029.

The initial cooperation will focus on India and Brazil, with potential expansion into Central and Latin America.

The MoU includes an initial confirmed commitment for ordering two V2000CG CarryAll and one SUNSHIP with the broader procurement to be finalized through subsequent purchase agreements.

The two companies will also collaborate on certification, fleet development, pilot and maintenance training, and local operational and support capabilities to enable the deployment of AutoFlight eVTOL in target markets.

“This MoU is an important step in our effort to develop practical advanced air mobility capabilities in our target markets,” said Mickey Commar and Prabhjot “PJ” Commar, Co-Founders of JC Aviation. “AutoFlight’s portfolio spans passenger mobility, cargo logistics and aerial firefighting, giving us a platform to explore applications tailored to local operating needs. Our focus now is on working together on certification, training and support infrastructure, while progressing the initial aircraft commitments and evaluating the wider opportunity in India, Brazil and other markets.”

“This cooperation marks an important step in AutoFlight’s global commercialization strategy,” said Kellen Xie, Senior Vice President of AutoFlight. “Together with JC Aviation, we look forward to bringing our eVTOL aircraft into a wide range of real-world applications and expanding Advanced Air Mobility across international markets.”

The partnership further strengthens AutoFlight’s global market presence and growing international demand for its eVTOL solutions across passenger mobility, cargo logistics and emergency response.
